Little Richard Dies 9th May 2020

Little Richard died on 9th May 2020 aged 87 years old.

Little Richard was a dynamic showman, who laid the foundation for rock n’ roll, who influenced a whole raft of artists to follow him including the Beatles, Mick Jagger, James Brown and others, as well as influencing the soul and funk genres to follow.

He had numerous hits over the years including:

• Long Tall Sally
• Rip It Up
• The girl can’t help It
• Lucille
• Good Golly Miss Molly
• Whole Lotta Shakin’
